VANNDALE ~ CROSS COUNTY ~ ARKANSAS

(Vanndale Cemetery 2002)

Compiled October 2001 by Brenda White Huntley and daughter, Cheri Huntley Stokes. This list consists of approximately 95% of the visible stones located in the cemetery.

Located in Vanndale city limits. From Wynne, take Arkansas Highway 1 to the first Vanndale exit, Highways 1B and 364. Follow Highway 364 through Vanndale and cross over the railroad. Travel 1/4 mile, turn right on County Road 353. The cemetery will be on the left.

Brenda's mother, Delia (Mrs. A. W.) White, was the county historian for several years. She and Mrs. Lena Riley were the historians for the Pleasant Hill Community Home Dem. Group before Delia's death in 1971.

Recognition goes to the Cross County Historical Society for their efforts that went into compiling the original list.

Note: This cemetery was originally surveyed for the Cross County Historical Society by 7 young men who were performing public service work. Many of the entries have since been corrected and updated by Willene Lovrien from her records as secretary of Vanndale Cemetery over the past several years.
