From Earle, travel north on US Highway 149 for 5 miles to Three
Forks. Turn right off of Highway 149 on
to Lunsford Road. The cemetery is located approximately 2 1/4
miles, on the left side of the gravel road.
This is a black cemetery and was once the site of New Prosperity Church. The church no longer exists. The cemetery is fairly maintained but with
overgrowth existing on the edge of the creek on the north side. All visible stones were recorded, although
other stones may be located in the wooded area next to the creek. At least one
unreadable funeral home marker was located, and evidence existed of several
unmarked graves.
