The cemetery is located on Highway 149, approximately 4 1/2 miles north of Earle, next to the Sterling Layton home. The cemetery plot is an estimated 1/4 acre.

MRS. M. J. LAYTON, wife of T. J. Layton (Margaret Jane Fuller McCorkhill Layton, first wife of James R. McCorkhill), born Dec 12, 1839 - died Nov 30, 1906. Inscription; Her many virtues form the noblest monument to her memory. (statue) (Note from Pat Isabel Brown: James R. McCorkhill and Margaret Jane Fuller had one daughter, Mahala Josephine "Josie" McCorkhill who married William Campbell Glover. They were the parents of Asa Flandry Glover)
